Below are our thoughts and beliefs on many political issues that are effecting everyday Americans.
The environment can seem like a huge problem in the state of Florida. Between August-October 2024, Florida has been hit by 3 hurricanes, and many fatalities have occurred. We think it’s time to start helping prepare the public for natural disasters. We also know that the world is getting hotter (that is a scientific fact). We stand for researching for about why that is, and using the governments tools for fixing it.
We must return the United State economy to a TRUE Free Market. The New Era Party will constantly fight to lower prices on the shelves in stores. We will also fight to lower taxes so American’s can keep more of the money that they earned, which will in turn help lower inflation.
We at the New Era Party of Florida also value the Two-Cents Plan, created by Perry Johnson. The plan will cut two cents off of every dollar in federal discretionary spending. This plan will solve our inflation problem, and will balance the budget.
Lowering healthcare costs for all Americans must happen. We have the highest healthcare rate in the world, yet we are far down the board when it comes to overall health in developed countries.
Secondly, Hospitals and pharma companies need to be much more transparent with patients, giving them all the options, not just the ones that will make them the most money.
Lastly, making the healthcare market more competitive for other companies would drive prices down (without sacrifcing quality of service). This also gives patients more options and lets them decide what path they want to take.
Social Security obviously needs reform, the government is using this money to drive the war machine more, and sending it off to foreign countries, then driving up the US national debt. The first move is moving Social Security into a private bank account, under no circumstance should the federal government be able to access this bank account, nor should anyone until the citizen it is dedicated to turns 60 years old.
The citizen should also have the option to put a percentage of their monthly Social Security (ex. 12%) into the stock market. They would be able to cash these stocks into their private Social Security account whenever they would like, but not receive the cash immediately.
Many of those in the New Era Party are still in school, we understand how broken the system is.
The schools are inefficient and the ways of learning are not up-to-date and doesn't resonate with many students.
Here is our plan:
We propose a national schedule for every elementary, middle and high school in America. With this schedule we could truly start to adapt to the needs and wants of the students, while learning! Below is the proposed schedule (NOTE: suject difficulties vary for grade level)
2x30Min Breaks = 1 Hour
5x55Min Classes = 4.5 Hours (Give or Take)
5 Minute Breaks Between Classes
Schedule: 4 Core Subjects (Math, Science, History, English)
5 Special Subjects that Cycle Everyday
The national debt is beyond out of control, many administrations have had the chance to fix it, and easily could've but didn't.
Our plan is simple (on paper), determine the budgets of government agencies, and cut their budget in percentages.
The New Era Party fully supports immigration, if it is legal. We believe that if people truly want to come here bad enough, they will take the proper route.
On the other hand, we are completely against illegal immigration and support heavy border control and a wall.
